    Grand Falls Gorge and Waterfalls
    The Grand Falls Gorge and Waterfalls are known as the largest waterfalls east of Niagara. The gorge stretches over 1.5 km (1 mi) and boasts cliff walls up to 70 m (230 ft) high. Take a guided tour of the falls by pontoon or on foot and learn how the gorge was slowly carved out over millions of years by the cascading waters of the St. John River.

    Brudenell River Provincial Park
    Located on the Brudenell River, this park is home to three golf courses, camping sites and tennis courts. There is a marina and beach on the river front, where canoeing, windsurfing, and kayaking can be indulged in.

    This winding trail, best for walking, has canopies provided by surrounding hardwood trees and is bordered by mosses. A stream runs nearby and there is plenty of wildlife present. Runs from Rte. 1 in Flat River to Rte. 207 for a distance of 4.1 miles.

    Cedar Dunes Provincial Park is located in the West Point area south of O'Leary. The park provides supervised beach swimming, children's activities and a staff naturalist that provides guided nature walks. Explore Canada's only functioning lighthouse in an inn.     Bottle Houses/Maisons de Bouteilles
    This place consists of 3 buildings made completely out of recycled bottles. The various colours of the glass make for an interesting visual experience, especially inside the buildings. The buildings are set in beautiful grounds close to the ocean and with wonderful flower gardens. On certain evenings the grounds are illuminated.This wonderful place was a retirement project for the late Édouard Arsenault.

    Buffaloland Provincial Park
    Buffaloland is home to a herd of buffalo in 100-acre grazing enclosure. The original buffalo were a gift to the Prince Edward Island government from the Province of Alberta. The enclosure can be viewed from a wooden deck with displays on the park's buffalo. The park is open year-round.

    Greenwich Peninsula, Prince Edward Island National Park

    Seperated by water from the rest Prince Edward Island National Park, Greenwich lies just north of the town of Greenwich on its own peninsula, and is home to P.E.I.'s most delicate ecosystem. A system of moving sand dunes and unique flora and fauna, the area is too delicate for human inhabitation. Visitors to the area can view the dunes from boarded walkways begining at the visitor information centre.

    Prince Edward Island National Park

    P.E.I.'s only national park extends 40 km along the island's north shore from Cavendish to Dalvay, and also includes 6 km along the western tip of the Greenwich Peninsula. Found within Prince Edward Island National Park of Canada are sand dunes, barrier islands and sand pits, beaches, sandstone cliffs, wetlands and forests.
