Ice Boat Service Monument The winter isolation of Prince Edward Island was partially lifted in 1827 when Prince Edward Island's first ice boat began carrying passangers and mail between the island and New Brunswick. The boats ran until car ferries took their place almost 100 years later. This service ran out of Cape Traverse, which has a memorial to it. Address: Rte 10 Cape Traverse PE

Georgina Fane Pope Memorial Georgina Fane Pope was a trained nurse who was the first Canadian to recieve the Royal Red Cross. She both superinted Canada's military nurses during the Boer War, and in 1908, was made Canada's first military Nursing Matron, in charge of all military nurses. Address: Old Armoury Summerside PE

Hughes Drug Store/Apothecaries Hall Historic Monument In December 1810, one of Charlottetown's first apothecaries was opened in this spot. Renamed Apothecaries Hall in 1874, the original building was replaced in 1900. A plaque commemorating the sites history hangs on the side of the building, which now houses P.E.I.'s famous COWS Ice Cream. Address: Corner of Queen & Grafton Streets Charlottetown PE
