    People's Protestant Cemetery
    For over 100 years, Charlottetown residents have been burried at this cemetery, which includes the graves of several prominment citizens. Several Fathers of Confederation are also burried here, and often their graves have markers errected by the Canadian government.

    This old Charlottetown cemetery holds the graves of several prominent Islanders, including statesmen.

    Cavendish Cemetery (Cavendish United Presbyterian Cemetery)
    This old cemetery is best-known as the resting place of Anne of Green Gables authoress Lucy Maud Montgomery, who was burried her in 1942. Her husband and family are also burried here. There is also a memorial here for the sailors killed in the 'Yankee Gale' hurricane in 1851.
